A Special Promoter

After training as an Art Director, completed at the University of Oregon School of Journalism in the United States, Ahoua Touré returned to her home country of Côte d'Ivoire in 2017.

From 2018 to early 2020, she held the positions of Executive Assistant at the Société Ivoirienne de Riz, Project Manager and Director of Communication at the Ministry of Rice Promotion. She also proved herself as Commercial Director at the Société ivoirienne de transformation d'anacarde.

In April 2020, guided by her passion, she decided to change her itinerary to devote herself to gastronomy, and make it her core business.

To understand this choice, we must go back to her childhood. Ahoua, a worthy daughter of her mother, herself a true cordon bleu, showed real culinary talent from the age of 10. She first expressed her enthusiasm for the discipline by imbibing her mother's recipes and tips, before quickly adding her own personal touch.

Over the years, Ahoua has grown and her passion has overtaken her. Guided by her palate and her sense of smell, she turns her kitchen into a laboratory of creativity. Guided by her intuition and her emotions, she concocts menus that are meant to be out of the ordinary.

Successful bet, since Ahoua Touré is now a restaurant owner appreciated and respected by her customers, who savor the delights of her herbal tea and fine cookie shop: the Maison Mandjou.

She tames the products of the Ivorian soil to make avant-garde concepts such as coffee or cinnamon pies, hibiscus or rice cakes. For the herbal teas of the Maison Mandjou, She moves away from the consensual taste of leaf infusions and offers instead blends of exotic flowers, fruits or tree bark, which transport the lucky consumers into an ancestral and authentic adventure. His creations tell a real story.

The Maison Mandjou celebrates African heritage through culinary works meticulously designed to highlight the richness of the continent. And if there is a title that can be attributed to its promoter Ahoua Touré, it is that of ambassador of African heritage.
